out- patient services, including day surgery, diagnostic services and health clinics.

Market Update:  And now for your weekly report.    Right now there are 463 North Surrey homes on the market and in the last 30 days, 12 basement homes sold with an average approximate price of 449,400.  This was 96% of asking price.  Did you realize that with a 5% down payment taking a 5 year mortgage with a 30 year amortization at 3.65%, the average basement home would have an morgage payment of approximate $2007 per month. Now rent out a typical suite at a conservative $600/mo means your mortgage payment would only be $1407/mo.

Cloverdale Rodeo

Hi, I'm Chris of Chris Whitehead and Associates.  Welcome to the North Surrey blog.  This is your weekly update for Friday, May 20.  There are currently 461 North Surrey homes on the market.  In the last 30 days 54 homes have sold and in that same time period 36 homes expired. 

Community Events!  It is Cloverdale Rodeo Weened.  Don't forget to go and have a good time.  There is something for all ages from Monster Truck rides for the kids, concerts at night to timber shows and of course all the Cowboy events.  You can buy tickets online, here's the URL:  http://www.ticketcard,ca/event-cloverdale.aspx 

Go Canucks Go!  Game 3 is tonight at 6pm and Game 4 is Sunday at noon.  It's looking good, let hope we go all the way. Those sharks don't look like thay have any bite!

There are currently 450 homes listed on the market in North Surrey.  In the last 30 days, 52 homes have sold and 41 homes have expired.

May 6th Surrey Housing Update

Hi I'm Chris of Chris Whitehead and Associates.  Welcome to the North Surrey Blog for Friday, May 6.  I'm speaking from the Green Timbers Urban Forest.  This lovely forest has a man-made lake and many natural features as well as a tremendous number of walking trails. 

 And now for your weekly report.  There are currently 459 active North Surrey homes on the market.  In the last 30 days, 51 homes sold and 38 homes expired. 

The May long weekend is coming up and that means it's time for the Cloverdale Rodeo.  This country fair is a 65 year Surrey tradition.  It will be kicked off by a hoe down on May 14th followed by a kid's bike parade and a bed race on May 19th.  The actual fair starts May 20-23.  There will be chili cook-offs, concerts and all the normal rodeo competition.
